Backing Up .PST Files (Outlook)

1. Download the Outlook Personal Folders Backup utility from Microsoft: http://office.microsoft.com/downloads/2002/pfbackup.aspx

2. Set the utility to backup your .PST to a new file as often as necessary (choose File->Backup->Options from the menu).

3. Change your backup settings in e-Backups to protect this new file instead of the original .pst.

Because of the unique nature of Outlook .PST files, this is the preferred way of backing up these files.
